more info on r500 3d engine

Okay so when I say minor effort in the previous post I meant to say a bit of effort in the fragment shader :-0

I've just done some trace reading from fglrx driver and it appears as if the fragment shader setup is quite different than the r300.

The fragment shader program appears to be uploaded indirectly like the vertex programs are via a single register rather than via a large bunch of registers. This causes a bunch of other regs to move around.

So maybe r5xx will require some specs to be published, or at least some RE with revenge will be required...
