SiS and newer Linux kernels..

Well I spent the day yesterday trying to get SiS to work on a kernel > 2.6.8, and tracked it down to 2.6.9-rc1-bk1 patchset, my current thinking is Ingos virtual memory layout changes broke it, I'm also sure this is the same patchset that broke
the i810 driver on original i810 hardware..

what do the SiS and i810 have in common (apart from being really crappy chipsets...) well they are both integrated chipsets that use host memory in wierd and wonderful ways...
